Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I mixed and mastered a song for Mon Laferte that went really really well.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will make your track FEEL good and I'll treat it as if it was my own art
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mastering can do magic, well, sometimes it can.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Believe in your own sound, try to push it all the way so it's unique.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been working on audio since around 2004, I started as an assistant and quickly became the head engineer of that studio. Then I moved to my own place around 2014 and have been mixing and mastering records for local and foreign artist. I've been quite lucky
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Punchy, dirty and bouncy.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I've been a good listener all my life :)
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Tchad Blake, Manny Marroquin and Michael Brauer. Love what these guys do!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The majority of the work I do is mastering, although I've been mixing records for a long time too.

A: Both, of course

A: Every decision you make should be made in context
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work with a lot of genres, but mainly latin and indie rock projects knock on my door
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My goal is to take the song and add excitement to it and somehow still remain transparent. I like to believe that I can follow what the song needs me to do audio-wise
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I try to work fast to keep the creative aspect flowing. I use lots of automation and love movement in the mixing and mastering process.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a hybrid setup, depending on the project I might go all ITB or run things through outboard gear to get different colors.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to charge for what I love doing.
